Well our 3rd annual Kid’s Charity event for CHEO is over and in the books for another year.

The weather co-operated with us on Saturday giving us mostly sunny skies and the fish didn’t disappoint the anglers this year. A record number of fish were caught and all were released including a young anglers first ever cat fish.

We didn’t get the number of kids we were hoping for this year with only 11 participants but they all had fun catching fish and there definitely was some friendly competition going on amongst them. Our top 5 anglers for this event were Jacob Smith with 24 panfish, Clara Cox with 20 and Isaacc Parker with 18, Jessica Larmand with 17 and Alysha Gascon with 16 panfish.
